Workshop
in Greece |
|
|
|
|
| We went on long walk ate in lovely little restaurants, I was seeing Athens from the locals angle and of course no one goes to Greece with out seeing the Acropolis. It was more beautiful than I imagined and the views were amazing. Then it was on to work. What a great people the Greeks are I just had to throw away any sense of organisation or time( a wonderful lesson for me there), the class was suppose to start at 9-30am but never got started till 11am, lunch was 3-30 and dinner at night round about midnight. Despina was lucky she had a live in trainee chef, he was 21 years old; the food and the home made bread was to die for, her apartment was always full of people so he was a very bust little chef. | |

The workshop were very powerful as they
were so eager to learn so results were very profound, that is where
most of my counselling come in.

The day before I left a few of us went by fast boat to the beautiful Island of Aegina. Legend has it that the first king of Aegina was Aeacus son of Zeus and the nymph Aegina. People have been living on the island since 2200 B.C. On the Island is the beautiful temple of Aphae, which was built, in the 6th century. We hired a care and went around the island and visited the very small Monastery of Saint Nektarios, this gorgeous little monastery is perched high on a hill and built on the ancient site of the old temple that was dedicated to the God Zeus. With a 15 minute walk we reached the monastery there we found the key in the door and you just let your self in. On entering we found incense burning and the candles lit; here we all did our own personal meditation. Then on to lunch which last till the last boat left for Athens. |

The next day with lots of crying I left
for Singapore and Malaysia where I would be meeting my friend from Thailand
and an associate of the Academy Orapin. The Academy will be putting
together a workshop in Thailand in the near future. |

| I hope you all
had a great Christmas and I wish you all the best for the New Year. The Academy wishes to congratulate Elaine Booker, Ron & Sue Windred and Jan Saxon who have achieved their practitioner's certificate in Crystal Therapy. Well, I have just completed another successful 13-day tour to Egypt, although this time of the year (September) I do find it a little crowded. I prefer to go in June /July when the crowds are very small, it may be a little warmer but the heat is bearable as there is no humidity. That way we have the temples and tombs more or less to our selves. On the first evening we did some powerful meditation from the healing centre overlooking the pyramids and the Sphinx. Then we all went on camels to the solar cross, which lies one mile north in the desert, overlooking the pyramids. I like to go around dusk, so we arrive at the solar cross when it is dark and the gentle breeze comes in from the desert giving one the feeling of a powerful presence. The solar cross is where the Egyptian God Thoth was supposed to have connected to earth's consciousness. Thus began our journey through Egypt |

It seems in ancient times for a place to be held sacred
it had to have mysterious powers. Delphi is an hour and half drive from Athens; it lies in magnificent splendor in the spectacular mountainous volcanic region on the Gulf of Corinth. It really is breathtakingly beautiful with sheer cliffs behind it reaching for the sky and spectacular views over the valleys down to the Ocean. The energy in Delphi was overwhelming for some, including the men in the group. |
